The blast was the latest in a string of attacks that have claimed more than 200 lives in Africa's largest economy in the past week alone. No group has yet claimed responsibility for the attack, but suspicion has been cast on Boko Haram, an extremist group which has killed more than 14,000 people since 2009 as it seeks to establish an Islamic state in northern Nigeria.
