According to the Palestinian Ministry of Health, two Palestinian youngsters were killed in two separate incidents in the West Bank village of Beit Ummar involving gunfire by Israeli soldiers. Mohammed al-Alami, 12, was shot on 28 July while in family's car. Clashes erupted during his funeral on 29 July in which Shawkat Khalid Awad, 20, was shot and at least 12 others were injured.
