Provisions in salary system bill could be easily used to cut pays, experts warn
The bill on the public sector salary system right after being published on the single national e-registry of regulations (ENER) has come under fire. Trade unions called it a 'bad systemic solution' demanding its immediate withdrawal as it is also criticized by experts. The legislation is proposed by the Ministry of Information Society and Administration. According to the explanation posted on ENER, it should be passed because the country lacks equal methodology for calculating public sector salaries.
