Macedonian Lit department launches Aco Shopov website
Marking 70 years since the publication of Aco Shopov’s poetry collection “Verses of Suffering and Joy” (1952) and 40 years since his death, a multilingual website dedicated to the great Macedonian poet was launched at a virtual event Thursday. Initiated by the poet’s daughter, literary translator Jasmina Shopova, the internet resource offers access to many of Shopov's poems, manuscripts, quotes, video recordings as well as reviews of his poetry.
