Local elections in Skopje: Arsovska wins 37.28%, Shilegov – 34.96%
The VMRO-DPMNE-supported independent candidate running for mayor of the capital Skopje, Danela Arsovska has won 37.28% of votes in Sunday’s local election with Petre Shilegov, the incumbent Skopje mayor who is seeking re-election after being nominated by SDSM, trailing behind with 34.96% of votes.
