Kovachevski-Lajčák: War in Ukraine imposes acceleration of EU integration of the Western Balkans
North Macedonia’s Prime Minister Dimitar Kovachevski met Wednesday in Brussels with Miroslav Lajčák, the EU Special Representative for the Belgrade-Pristina Dialogue and other Western Balkan regional issues and agreed that the war in Ukraine imposes a necessary acceleration of the EU integration of the Western Balkan countries and urgent opening negotiations with North Macedonia is a priority.
