Kovachevski: Joining anti-fascism, Macedonian people chose to build one country for all, comparable to EU
The Macedonian people, alongside every other people, chose to create the Macedonian state as a progressive home for liberty for all its citizens without exception, like the EU is today. That is why we have strong reasons to celebrate and be part of celebrations throughout Europe, to celebrate victories over fascism and the grand idea of Europe, Prime Minister Dimitar Kovachevski said on Monday at the celebration in honor of May 9 – Victory in Europe Day.
