Skopje, 7 July 2022 (MIA) — The Harvard Krokodiloes, Harvard University’s oldest a cappella singing group, will give a concert at Suli an at 8:30 pm as part of Skopje Summer 2022.
Established in 1946, the male choir currently consists of twelve Harvard undergraduates majoring in Applied Mathematics, Economics, Statistics, Molecular and Cellular Biology, Environmental Science, Engineering, Sociology, Government, Computer Science and Philosophy.
For over 70 years, “this group of twelve undergraduate men has been bringing the popular music of the Great American Songbook, as well as more traditional aires, to audiences across the country and around the globe,” their website says.
During the academic year, the Harvard Krokodiloes perform their signature blend of jazz and swing standards at private functions, charity fundraisers and special occasions throughout the New England area.
Their album releases include “Shades of Green” (1992), “Downstairs at the Upstairs Bar” (1999), and “Krokodile Tears” (2002).
The concert in Skopje is part of their 2022 World Summer Tour. mr/
