Food and Veterinary Agency joins antibiotic resistance awareness campaigns
The Food and Veterinary Agency is again taking part in global campaigns to raise awareness of the threat to human and animal health and the environment caused by antibiotic resistance accelerated by the overuse and misuse of medicines in humans, livestock and agriculture as well as to encourage best practices among the general public, health workers and policy makers to avoid the further emergence and spread of drug-resistant infections.
