Delaying EU process wanes commitment of society, PM Kovachevski tells MIA
Prime Minister Dimitar Kovachevski met with MIA’s correspondent after his first visit to Brussels and meetings with top EU and NATO officials. He says he wants a swift and quality solution with neighboring Bulgaria so that the long-awaited and deserved EU talks open, whereas establishing mutual trust between the two sides is a priority. The PM has also warned interlocutors in Brussels that any further delay of the process will undoubtedly affect the people’s support but also the appetites of other big powers in the Western Balkans.
