The European Union is on the point to a huge geostrategic decision. The key instrument against this war on European soil is the EU perspective and enlargement. It is the EU’s geostrategic task and enlargement is now more important than ever, which is why I believe that the EU should open negotiations with North Macedonia and Albania as soon as possible, Austrian Foreign Minister Alexander Schallenberg said Tuesday in Skopje at a news conference alongside his counterpart and host, Foreign Minister Bujar Osmani.
