Skopje, 6 October 2021 (MIA) — The EU needs to have the first intergovernmental conference with North Macedonia as soon as possible, High Representative of the EU for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy and Vice-President of the European Commission Josep Borrell wrote in a Twitter post following his meeting with Prime Minister Zoran Zaev and Deputy Prime Minister for European Affairs Nikola Dimitrov in Brdo near Kranj, Slovenia.
“With Zoran_Zaev we discussed the excellent EU – North Macedonia cooperation including security, global issues, regional integration, enlargement,” Borrell wrote.
“We need to have the first intergovernmental conference as soon as possible. North Macedonia and its citizens deserve to advance on EU path,” he added. mr/
