Bartholomew: Ecumenical Patriarchate helped to restore peace and order in the Balkans
Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew welcomed the reconciliation liturgy held by the Serbian Orthodox Church (SOC) and the Macedonian Orthodox Church-Ohrid Archbishopric (MOC-OA) in the Belgrade’s Temple of Saint Sava, which ended the 55-year-old schism, just days after Phanar's decision to accept the Ohrid Archbishopric in canonical and liturgical communion.
